Who We Are

MRA Consulting Services is a Pan-India mechanical engineering and contracting firm specializing in the fabrication, erection, repair, and maintenance of dam and irrigation infrastructure. The firm is led by Mr. M. R. Anjaria, Founder and a retired Deputy Engineer from the Maharashtra Water Resources Department with over 30 years of experience, along with Mr. Mehul Nayak, a young Mechanical Engineer supporting modern engineering practices and efficient project execution.

We undertake mechanical works related to dam and canal gates, EOT hoists, head regulator gates, power outlet gates, sluice valves, penstocks, pipelines, intake structures, and approach bridges for major, medium, and minor irrigation projects. Our scope includes new fabrication and erection, as well as repair, rehabilitation, and maintenance of existing structures.

Quality and safety are central to our operations. We follow strict quality control procedures and adopt X-ray quality welding for critical applications such as radial gate skin plates and heavy structural components. All works are carried out under strong technical supervision to ensure structural strength, dimensional accuracy, and long-term performance of the installations.

Mr. M. R. Anjaria

Mr. M. R. Anjaria is the Founder of MRA Consulting Services and a Retired Deputy Engineer from the Maharashtra Water Resources Department, with over 45 years of extensive experience in the field of mechanical engineering related to water resources and irrigation projects.

During his tenure, he was involved in the fabrication, erection, testing, and maintenance of dam and canal gates for major, medium, and minor irrigation schemes. He has successfully executed and supervised erection works for more than 25 minor irrigation schemes, as well as major dam projects such as Bhatsa, Surya, Morbe, Hetavane, and Savitri Dams. He also has hands-on experience in the fabrication, erection, and testing of heavy radial gates, including 15 m × 12 m radial gates (5 numbers), along with water supply cum power outlet gates, river sluice gates, and hydraulic hoists of 250 T capacity, notably during his role as a Mechanical Consultant at the Middle Vaitarna Dam under the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai.

In the final years of his government service, Mr. Anjaria worked in the Dam Safety Department, where he carried out inspection and assessment of major and minor dams across the Sindhudurg, Ratnagiri, Raigad, and Thane districts. His inspection experience includes important projects such as Tilari Dam and Koyna Dam, giving him deep insight into dam safety norms, structural performance, and long-term operation practices.

With his strong field experience, technical judgment, and thorough understanding of dam safety and government procedures, Mr. Anjaria continues to mentor and guide MRA Consulting Services toward quality-driven and dependable engineering execution.

Mr. Manojkumar Patil

Mr. Manojkumar Patil is a highly experienced mechanical professional with over 35 years of practical expertise in the field of hydro-mechanical and irrigation infrastructure works. He is the Owner of Sky Industries, a firm specializing in the manufacturing of dam gates, hoists, hydraulic hoist components, power pack units, and allied mechanical systems essential for water resource projects.

With a strong foundation in both manufacturing and site execution, Mr. Patil has extensive experience in fabrication, erection, testing, and commissioning of dam gates and mechanical works. Presently, he is actively working as a Mechanical Contractor for Dam Gates and Fabrication & Erection Works under MIDC and the Water Resources Department (WRD), Government of Maharashtra.

Known for his technical depth, precision, and hands-on approach, Mr. Patil is also associated with MRA Consulting Services, where he contributes his vast industry experience to technical consultancy, execution planning, and project problem-solving. His long-standing commitment to quality, safety, and reliability has earned him strong professional respect across irrigation and infrastructure organizations.

Mr. Mehul Nayak

Mr. Mehul Nayak is the son of Mr. M. R. Anjaria and has grown up immersed in the world of dam and irrigation engineering. From a young age, he accompanied Mr. Anjaria to worksites, spending his childhood observing and learning all aspects of on-site operations alongside engineers, office staff, and laborers.

Today, all on-site work at MRA Consulting Services is executed by Mehul, applying his practical knowledge and mechanical engineering expertise while respectfully seeking guidance from senior experts whenever needed. He carries forward the legacy and vision of MRA Consulting Services, ensuring excellence and reliability in every project.
